MRKT 503 CURRENT ISSUES IN MARKETING (Three Hours) This course analyzes the formation of marketing policies and strategies as it examines product planning and development, selection, and development of marketing channels, marketing research, and cost allocation. Managerial aspects of marketing and the relationship of marketing to the total organizational operation are discussed. Skills developed: Problem solving, presentation, and team building. Practical application: Heavy use of case analysis for organizations. This course cannot be taken as a directed study.
