Course Description:

BUSN 463 BUSINESS STRATEGY AND COMPETITION This course builds on the ideas developed during the undergraduate program to provide perspective that creating a sustainable business strategy can make an organization – large or small – competitive proof. The course develops the art of using game theory and relevant case study to integrate the major learning outcomes to understand and implement a series of increasingly complex strategic interactions that are faced at various managerial levels within a firm. Students must engage in all activity including all program assessments in this course to fulfill graduation requirements. Prerequisites: ACCT 213, ACCT 223, BUSN 303, BUSN 353, BUSN 363, ECON 113, ECON 123, and MRKT 313 (Healthcare Management majors only may use the following prerequisites: ACCT 213, ACCT 223, BUSN 353, HCMG 313, HCMG 323, and HCMG 363).
