Course Description:

CHEM 133 GENERAL CHEMISTRY I A study of the basic laws and theories of chemistry, with emphasis on structure, bonding, and periodic relationships of the elements. This course is designed for those who plan further study in chemistry. The class consists of lectures and laboratory work. Prerequisites: MATH 154 or 164, or at least one and a half years of high school Algebra, and CHEM 113, one year of high school Chemistry, on consent of instructor. Co-requisite: CHEM 132/130 General Chemistry I Laboratory/Problem Solving. Three Hours, Fall
