Course Description:

ETOP 533 CLASSROOM APPLICATIONS FOR BRAIN RESEARCH (Three Hours) Current scientific knowledge about how the brain learns and opportunities for instruction will be examined in this course. Traditional beliefs about teaching will be compared to the latest brain research and multiple intelligences (including emotional intelligence) to determine compatibility and implementation of appropriate instructional methodologies. Methods and approaches compatible with how the human brain learns best will be studied in a manner that classroom teachers can implement immediately in their own instructional program.
